EazyGo collects information about you when you use our mobile applications, websites, and other online products and services (collectively, the “Services”), as well as through other interactions and communications you have with us.
Scope and Application
This Privacy Statement (“Statement”) applies to persons anywhere in the world who use our apps or Services to request transportation, delivery, or other on-demand services (“Users”). This Statement does not apply to information we collect from or about drivers, couriers, partner transportation companies, or any other persons who use the EazyGo platform under license (collectively “Drivers”).
If you interact with the Services as both a User and a Driver, the respective privacy statements apply to your different interactions.
Collection of Information
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create or modify your account, request on-demand services, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. This may include:
• Name, email, phone number, postal address, profile picture
• Payment method details
• Items requested (for delivery services), delivery notes
• Any other information you choose to provide
Information We Collect Through Your Use of Our Services
When you use our Services, we collect information about you in the following categories.
1. Location Information
When you use the Services for transportation or delivery, we collect precise location data about the trip from the EazyGo app used by the Driver. If you permit the app to access location services through your mobile platform’s permission system, we may also collect precise location data when the app is running in the foreground or background.
2. Contacts Information
If you permit the EazyGo app to access the address book on your device, we may store names and contact details to facilitate social interactions and other purposes described in this Statement.
3. Transaction Information
We collect transaction details related to your service usage — type of service, date and time, amount charged, distance traveled, etc.
4. Usage and Preference Information
We collect information about how you and others interact with our Services, preferences expressed, and settings chosen — often through cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies.
5. Device Information
We may collect your mobile device’s hardware model, OS version, software names, unique device ID, preferred language, serial number, advertising identifiers, motion info, and network info.
6. Call and SMS Data
To facilitate communication between Users and Drivers, we receive call data including call/SMS time, phone numbers, and message content.
7. Log Information
We collect server logs that may include IP address, access times, pages viewed, app crashes, browser type, and referring sites.
Important Information About Platform Permissions
Most mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) require user consent before apps can access specific data. For example, iOS will alert you when the EazyGo app requests access to data, and Android will list required permissions before you install or use the app.
Information We Collect From Other Sources
We may receive information from other sources and combine it with information collected through our Services. For example:
• If you link or log in to EazyGo with a payment provider (e.g., Google Pay) or social account (e.g., Facebook).
• If your employer uses our enterprise services.
• From Drivers (e.g., User ratings).
• If you use our Services as both a Driver and a User.
Use of Information
We may use the information collected to:
• Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
• Facilitate payments, send receipts, and provide requested services
• Develop safety features and verify user identity
• Prevent fraud, troubleshoot software issues, and perform research
• Communicate estimated times of arrival (ETAs) between you and Drivers

• Personalize your app experience and content
We may process and store your data in Sri Lanka or other countries with different data protection laws, while ensuring your privacy is protected in accordance with this Statement.

We may share the information we collect about you as described in this Statement or as described at the time of collection or sharing, including as follows
Through Our Services
We may share your information:
• With Drivers to enable them to provide requested services (e.g., name, profile photo, rating, pickup/drop-off).
• With other riders in shared rides.
• With third parties to provide services or promotional offers.
• Publicly, if you submit content to a public forum or social media channel.
• With your employer, if you use enterprise solutions such as EazyGo Business.

Account Information
You can edit your account information anytime via the app or website. To delete your account, email info@eazygo.lk. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business reasons (e.g., fraud prevention).

EazyGo will comply with applicable data access, correction, and deletion requests as required by law.
Location Information
You can disable location access from your device settings. However, this may limit certain features.

If you grant access, EazyGo may sync your contacts to help with referrals or in-app communication. You can later disable this on iOS; Android may not provide that option.
