User Guidelines

To ensure that the EazyGo platform operates safely, fairly, and efficiently for everyone, all users — including passengers, drivers, and partners — must adhere to the following Guidelines. These guidelines are an integral part of our Terms and Conditions and are designed to promote respect, safety, and trust across our services.
1. General Conduct

Users are expected to use the EazyGo website, mobile application, and all related services responsibly and lawfully. You agree:

• Not to use the EazyGo platform for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activities.
• Not to interfere with or disrupt the security, functionality, or performance of the platform.
• To provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating or updating your account.
• To maintain confidentiality of your account credentials and accept full responsibility for all activities under your account.
• Not to engage in any activity that could cause harm to EazyGo, its users, or its reputation.

2. User Responsibilities

All users must:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using EazyGo’s services.
• Treat drivers, passengers, and support staff with courtesy and respect.
• Avoid using abusive language, threats, or violence in any form.
• Pay for services promptly and through authorized payment methods.
• Follow the safety instructions provided by EazyGo and its drivers.

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may lead to account suspension, deactivation, or permanent removal from the EazyGo platform.
3. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers registered with EazyGo must:

• Hold a valid driving license and all required permits to operate.
• Maintain their vehicles in good working condition and comply with safety standards.
• Avoid any behavior that could endanger passengers, including reckless driving or substance use.
• Respect customer privacy and never share user information without authorization.
• Not overcharge, refuse legitimate rides, or manipulate trip data.

Drivers found violating these rules may be subject to disciplinary action, including termination of their access to the EazyGo platform.
4. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers using EazyGo agree to:

• Provide accurate pickup and drop-off details when booking a ride.
• Be ready at the pickup location at the agreed time.
• Avoid damaging the driver’s vehicle or property.
• Refrain from engaging in illegal behavior or carrying prohibited items.
• Treat drivers with respect and follow all reasonable safety instructions.

If a passenger causes damage, safety risks, or repeated service disruptions, EazyGo reserves the right to recover damages and suspend the user account.
5. Safety and Security

EazyGo prioritizes the safety of both passengers and drivers. To maintain a secure environment:

• All rides and transactions are monitored for fraud prevention.
• Drivers and vehicles undergo verification and background checks.
• Users should report any suspicious activity, misconduct, or emergencies to EazyGo’s support team immediately through the in-app help center or via info@eazygo.lk.
• EazyGo may share trip details with authorities in cases involving safety concerns or legal investigations.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users are strictly prohibited from:

• Using the platform for criminal or deceptive purposes.
• Copying, modifying, reverse engineering, or distributing any part of the EazyGo software.
• Sending spam, viruses, or malicious code.
• Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your identity.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the EazyGo systems or databases.

Any violation of these prohibitions may result in legal action and immediate termination of your account.
7. Communication and Feedback

EazyGo values constructive communication and feedback.

• You may contact EazyGo via the app or info@eazygo.lk for service inquiries or complaints.
• Feedback or suggestions you submit become the property of EazyGo, which may use them to improve services without obligation or compensation.
• EazyGo reserves the right to monitor and record customer service

communications for training and quality purposes.
8. Account Suspension or Termination

EazyGo reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any user or driver account without prior notice if:

• You breach these Guidelines or the Terms and Conditions.
• You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unsafe behavior.
• Required documents or identity verifications are found invalid or misleading.
• There is misuse of promotions, discounts, or referral programs.

In the event of termination, any outstanding dues or disputes must be resolved before the account can be reinstated or permanently closed.
9. Reporting Misconduct

If you witness or experience any form of misconduct, harassment, or unsafe behavior during your use of the EazyGo services, please report it immediately through the in-app reporting system or contact our support team at info@eazygo.lk

All reports will be treated seriously and investigated confidentially.
10. Compliance and Enforcement

EazyGo reserves the right to investigate any violations of these Guidelines, cooperate with law enforcement authorities, and take appropriate legal or administrative actions where necessary.

Repeated or severe violations may lead to permanent bans or legal proceedings.
